A better human

Once a man went to saint and said, I desire to be better in my life. Please guide me.

Saint gave him some cotton, one candle and one needle and said, "here take these, they are your guide.”

Man wondered and asked, “Maharaj, I am not able to understand why you gave me all these things? How are these things going to help me in making my life better?

Saint smiled and said, each of these things which I gave you has deep meaning of their own.

** The beauty of cotton is that it is used to make thread which is used to make clothes that protects the honor of a man.

~ Similarly, you should always be honoring others.

** Candle burns and melts to give light to others.

Similarly, you should sacrifice yourself to brighten other’s life.

** Needle stitches the torn clothes.

Similarly, you should help to mend broken hearts of people.

After listening this, man understood the way to make life better.

Lesson :

A good human is one who contributes to make other’s life better & honors them.
